The primary responsibility of the Dental Public Health Coordinator will be to attend all of clinic trips to create a relationship that clinic patients are comfortable to address concerns and questions to. The Dental Public Health Coordinator is responsible for educating the clinic and surrounding community about general dental health concerns.
He/She will coordinate activities and/or health topics for the monthly clinics alongside the Public Health Chair. He/she will educate our patients about controlling numerous diseases, nutrition habits, and developing good oral hygiene habits. The Dental Public Health Coordinator must report to the Dental Clinic Coordinator about new projects each month and needs to attend at least 75% of clinics.
