The Fundraising Chair initiates, develops, and leads a monthly fundraising event. Recruits members to participate in fundraiser events and keeps track of members at fundraisers. The Fundraising Chair seeks fundraising opportunities, coordinates and notifies members of fundraising events. The Fundraising Chair must contact organizations and companies to fund or donate to Flying Sams. The Fundraising Chair must work closely with the Vice President to coordinate all club fundraising events i.e. food fundraisers, restaurant takeovers etc. The Fundraising Chair is responsible for overseeing all aspects pertaining to the End of the Year Benefit Banquet. This includes scheduling the banquet facility, coordinating the catering, entertainment, invitations, and publicity. The work for the banquet must be ongoing throughout the year.
